LBMC Announces Advisory Services Practice to Meet Client Needs in Private Equity, Healthcare, Middle Market Space

LBMC’s Mark Burnette Chosen to Lead Unified Advisory Group Created by Six of Firm’s Service Lines

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -  LBMC, a top 40 accounting firm and the largest Tennessee-based professional services and business consulting firm, is pleased to announce the launch of its Advisory Services Group to meet the evolving needs of clients in the private equity, healthcare and middle market space.

LBMC veteran Mark Burnette will lead the practice, which is comprised of the firm’s cyber risk services, transaction advisory services, litigation & valuation, healthcare consulting, data insights, and growth & innovation groups.

The unified advisory group was created in response to feedback from clients who stated that advisory services are a top priority as they evaluate growth opportunities, manage and mitigate risk, and look to capitalize on market conditions. The enhanced practice allows LBMC to seamlessly deliver the right resources to meet clients' needs and provide a deeper bench to solve complex problems with a broader approach than solely the compliance aspect. As part of the expansion, LBMC’s nationally recognized team of experts will build custom strategies and solutions that help drive business growth, master the most critical business needs, and meet evolving marketplace demands.

“We are pleased to announce the launch of our unified advisory services practice led by our own Mark Burnette,” says Jeff Drummonds, LBMC CEO. “As the leader of LBMC’s information security practice, Mark has been a core driver of the growth and success of our firm for a number of years. From his deep expertise to his extraordinary contributions to clients and close relationships with teams across LBMC, he’s the ideal leader to step into this role.”

“I am honored to take on the executive leadership role of LBMC’s new advisory services practice and am excited about the opportunities ahead,” says Mark Burnette. “I look forward to working with the leaders of our advisory service lines, all of whom are world-class experts in their respective fields. The individual teams that make up our practice have been delivering outstanding service and solutions to our clients for many years. The unified advisory practice facilitates sharing of best practices and resources, enhances collaboration, and maximizes operational efficiencies across service lines while allowing our teams to deliver and create more value for businesses.”

“What sets LBMC apart is having a perspective and sharing those insights and opportunities with C-suite leaders. We create value by helping leaders see what’s around the corner, and the advisory practice gives us the opportunity to bring the full power of the firm through a coordinated approach. Our advisory services team ensures our clients get the holistic view to help move their business forward and reach their goals. We want to be the trusted advisor our clients need, not just for compliance, but for their companies’ future growth,” says Drummonds.
