HW Fisher further bolsters their Tax team with the recent appointment of Gerry Myton as Partner and Head of Indirect Tax

HW Fisher, the top 25 UK chartered accountancy firm has made a further addition to its tax team today with the appointment of Gerry Myton as Partner. Gerry’s appointment is the fifth addition to the tax team this year where he will be heading up the Indirect Tax team covering VAT and Duty. 

Having begun his career at HMRC, Gerry then moved into senior positions at various UK Top 20 firms including Grant Thornton, PKF and MHA Macintyre Hudson where he was a VAT Partner. Most recently Gerry was Head of Indirect Tax at The UK Tax Advisory Limited.

Gerry has extensive experience of assisting companies in navigating the complexities of VAT with a particular emphasis on companies setting up and trading in the UK and from the UK into Europe. As part of his new role, Gerry will be focused on helping HW Fisher clients minimise the effects that Brexit has had on their business and working to mitigate any additional costs they might be feeling.
