Draffin Tucker Welcomes Jake Kitchens and Ben Glass Into Firm Partnership

Albany, GA. – Draffin Tucker is pleased to announce the admission of Jake Kitchens and Ben Glass as Partners of the firm, effective January 1, 2025.

Jake Kitchens
Since joining Draffin Tucker in 2010, Jake has been an integral part of the firm’s healthcare practice, providing expert guidance to urban, rural, for-profit, and nonprofit hospitals and healthcare systems across Georgia and Alabama. After starting his career in the Albany office, Jake transitioned to the Atlanta office, where his leadership has been instrumental in driving growth and expanding the firm’s footprint in Alabama.

Jake’s contributions extend beyond client service. He actively participates in firm committees, industry niche groups, recruiting initiatives, and continuing professional education (CPE) training facilitation. Jake’s accomplishments have been recognized outside the firm as well, including being named Troy University School of Accounting Young Alumnus of the Year.

Ben Glass
Ben began his career with Draffin Tucker in 2011, building a reputation for excellence within the healthcare practice. He has developed deep, long-standing relationships with rural hospitals in Georgia and Alabama, guiding them through financial and operational challenges. Ben’s leadership and expertise have been critical in helping clients navigate complex environments and achieve stability.

Within the firm, Ben has led initiatives as Chair of the PPS Niche Group since 2018. His influence extends to the broader community through his leadership roles with the Artesian City Sertoma Club and the Albany Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs. Ben also shares his knowledge through teaching, presenting, and authoring articles on reimbursement practices.

Jake and Ben have been instrumental in securing new clients and advancing opportunities within Draffin Tucker’s healthcare practice. While their careers share similarities, each has achieved unique milestones that reflect their individual strengths and dedication to the firm’s success.
