Great Bend, Kan.-based IPA 200 firm Adams Brown (FY20 net revenue of $30 million) is merging in Kane Mitchell and Co. LLC (KMC) of Overland Park, Kan.
Founded in 1996, KMC serves closely held and family-owned businesses, trusts and individuals in a wide array of industries, including overlap areas such as construction and professional services companies. As part of the deal, all eight KMC team members will join Adams Brown, with current shareholder Curt Freking joining the firm as a partner.
“The combining of our firms will benefit our clients, our team and the Kansas City community,” says Adams Brown MP Brian Staats. “Current KMC clients will gain access to additional specialized solutions, while our team gains experienced accounting professionals with specialties similar to ours.”
