Kansas – Families in five communities across Kansas will be able to put a little more food on the table thanks to business owners who responded to a survey conducted by the certified public accounting firm of Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chtd. (ABBB).

ABBB was seeking feedback from the business community and offered to make a $10 donation to a local food bank for every survey response it received. The firm ultimately was able to donate $680 to five food banks in El Dorado, Hutchinson, Hays, Kansas City, and Wichita. Several of these food banks support neighboring cities and counties and have statewide efforts, as well.

“Supporting these food banks is emblematic of ABBB’s commitment to give back to the communities it serves,” said Brian Staats, CPA, CGMA, managing partner of the firm. “Throughout the year, ABBB team members across our locations give back by volunteering and through firm-wide half days of community service.  This survey was another opportunity to help those in need.”
