Harrisburg, PA, — The Leadership Harrisburg Area (LHA) awarded Matthew S. Fox (Matt), Senior Manager at Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz (BSSF), a graduate of the Community Leadership Series (CLS) Class of 2019. After spending nine months and over 100 hours completing the educational and experiential course, Matt graduated alongside 52 other newly minted leaders. With over 400 attendees, the ceremony was a day of celebration for the 52 that spent this time exploring the complex systems that affect the quality of life in the Capital Region.
Matt is a key member of BSSF’s Tax Department and has over ten years of public accounting experience. Matt is one of the leaders of BSSF’s Craft Beverage Group, specializes in Research and Development (R&D) Credit Consulting and serves a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing and auto dealerships.
The CLS was established in 1986 as LHA’s core program. The goal of CLS is to help individuals gain insights, connections, resources and tools to practice servant leadership and effectively serve their companies, their community and the entire Capital Region. Throughout the course, participants gain hands-on experience with community service by collaborating on a team project with a local non-profit organization. As a result, participants learn new and strengthen existing skill sets designed to improve team work, sharpen project management and enhance creative problem solving.
