SVA has announced that Cindy Bong, the company’s Principal and Chief Operating Officer, has decided to retire effective December 31, 2018. Jennifer Hoege will serve as Chief Operating Officer upon Bong’s retirement.
Bong began working at SVA in 1981 in the internal accounting area of the company. As SVA grew and expanded, her career progressed to Office Manager, Firm Administrator and then ultimately to Chief Operating Officer. Bong has been responsible for SVA’s operations, facilities and administrative departments. She also has been serving as the secretary of the SVA Board of Directors.
“Cindy has contributed over 30 years of experience to SVA, and her achievements will not be forgotten,” states Carl Schulz, President and CEO of SVA. “We wish Cindy all the best in her upcoming retirement as she spends time with her husband, children, grandchildren and being a ‘grandma’.”
