Cleveland– Skoda Minotti, a national business advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Danielle Gisondo, CPA, has been named to Crain’s Cleveland Business list of Notable Women in Finance.
In her 20-year tenure at Skoda Minotti, Gisondo has held numerous leadership roles, both formal and informal. She was appointed the firm’s first female partner in 2013 and has since taken strides to ease the path of other women in the business who follow in her footsteps. As leader of the firm’s 22-member Employee Benefit Plan Audit Group, Gisondo oversees the growth of this niche, and also develops strategic recommendations in areas of tax, accounting, and benefits that directly contribute the financial health of her clients.
In addition to her client responsibilities, Gisondo co-founded the firm’s Women’s Development Program; acts as recruitment and hiring partner for the firm; serves as a performance coach and advisor to professional staff; is a member of its Compensation Review Committee; and currently serves on the firm’s Executive Committee, helping to set the strategic vision and direction for the firm.
Additionally, Gisondo has been instrumental in leading Skoda Minotti’s Firm of the Future initiative, which is shaping the vision and future direction of the firm for the next five to 10 years—and she is part of a core group of Skoda Minotti partners who are in the process of launching a women-owned business initiative to better support women business owners in the region.
“Dani is a highly respected leader at Skoda Minotti—she is admired and respected by our partners and employees at every level of the organization and leads not with loud words, but rather by example,” said Robert Ranallo, CPA/ABV, JD, CVA, CFF. “She serves as a role model and regular source of counsel for countless female professionals who continually strive to balance professional growth and advancement with personal responsibilities and family commitments.”
As an extremely active member of the community, Gisondo serves on the boards of Business Volunteers Unlimited (BVU) and the Beaumont School, where she is also a member of both the Finance Committee and the Maintenance Subcommittee. Additionally, she is active at St. Francis of Assisi, where she serves as treasurer of the Booster Club, volunteers at the school, and has chaired various fundraisers. Previously, she was a board member of Geauga County Humane Society’s Rescue Village, a member of Junior League of Cleveland, and co-founder of Skoda Minotti’s Meals-on-Wheels Volunteer Program.
