Nashville, Tenn. – LBMC is pleased to announce the following manager promotions in the firm’s Nashville (Brentwood) office.
Jessica Gillis has been named manager in the Audit department. Gillis works with non-profits, hospitality, technology, manufacturing, investment companies, and employee benefit plans. She joined LBMC in 2015 after working as a staff auditor at Puryear, Hamilton, Hausman, and Wood, PLC. Gillis holds her bachelor’s degree from The University of Tennessee, Chattanooga and her master’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University.
Jeffrey Jackson has been named manager in the Tax department. Jackson joined LBMC in 2017 after working at Marcum, LLP. He holds his bachelor’s degree from The University of Tennessee, his master’s degree from The College of Charleston, and his Juris Doctor from The University of Memphis School of Law.
Jeremy Miller has been named manager in the Transaction Advisory Services department. Miller has professional services experience in the healthcare, entertainment, food and beverage, and manufacturing industries. Miller joined LBMC in 2016 after working as a senior accountant for Correct Care Solutions. Miller began his public accounting career with KPMG Nashville where he spent three years in the audit department. Miller holds his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and his master’s degree from Liberty University and is an active CPA in the state of Tennessee.
John Peake has been named manager in the Tax department. Peake joined LBMC in 2013 and works in the firm’s specialty tax group. He works primarily with clients in the healthcare, private equity, technology, and real estate industries. Peake has experience working with both public and private companies preparing and reviewing federal and multi-state income tax filings, as well as assisting clients in tax accounting for preparation and review of income tax provisions (ASC 740). Peake plays a pivotal role in the firm’s campus recruiting program. He holds his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The University of Georgia.
Kurt Zollner has been named manager in the Audit department. Zollner joined LBMC in 2012 as a staff accountant and works primarily in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining the firm, he completed an internship with Tennessee Valley Authority where he helped establish audit procedures. He holds his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Tennessee Tech University and is a CPA.
