Wisconsin – Schenck is hosting a workshop, “2017 Trucking Update: Driving Home Safety at Every Turn,” that will provide significant regulatory updates, safety considerations and topics critical to the trucking industry. The workshop will be held Tuesday, Oct. 24 at The Marq, 3177 French Rd, De Pere, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration and continental breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m.
The workshop includes an in-depth look at a Department of Transportation Level 1 truck inspection led by Mark Abrahamson, risk advisor at HNI and former award-winning Wisconsin state patrol inspector. Wisconsin State Patrol members Corey Dahl, motor carrier investigator, and Doug Kellner, motor carrier inspector, will discuss accident reconstruction and break down causes, providing insight into preventive measures that help maintain safety.
The seminar will also feature a panel of experienced banking, law and insurance professionals that will share their insight into the industry, common mistakes and suggested best practices.
Cost is $50 per person, which includes seminar materials, continental breakfast and lunch.
