Buffalo, NY – Freed Maxick announces that two new individuals have joined the Human Resources team – Nicholas Dentice as Career Coach & Recruitment Specialist, and Timothy Manley as Training & Development Specialist. The combination of these positions is unique in the accounting industry, serving as a two-pronged approach to further the recruiting efforts and professional development opportunities at Freed Maxick.

As the Career Coach & Recruitment Specialist, Nick’s responsibilities are comprised of three main areas of concentration; recruiting, onboarding and career coaching. Nick is the face of the firm at all local recruiting and campus events, making strong connections within the collegiate community. Cultivating these relationships on campus, he makes a point to maintain them once an individual comes on board. Nick also works alongside the Training and Development Specialist to ensure each employee is receiving the training and education necessary to be successful in public accounting. In addition, he focuses heavily on CPA exam prep so that employees can reach their professional goals at the firm.

As the Training and Development Specialist, Tim focuses on personal and professional development of employees. He supports all firm staff with opportunities to further enhance their skill set, continue professional education (CPE), identify opportunities for individuals to excel in their career, and ensure that all professionals at the firm remain compliant with industry standards. Tim also assists in the development of materials for internal trainings and presentations. Ultimately, his role is to ensure firm employees are receiving the necessary opportunities, educational materials and training to advance their career.

Managing Director Henry Koziol states, “I’m proud of our firm for identifying ways to further develop our employees. Building out the capabilities of our Human Resources team and bringing in the right people to support these initiatives ensures our employees have the guidance and education that will help them grow both as a person and a professional. Because we know our greatest asset is our people.”
