Nashville, Tenn.  - LBMC, one of the Southeast’s largest accounting and business consulting firms, is proud to announce that Josh Brummett was recently named a Nashville Emerging Leader Awards (NELA) Top 5 finalist in the category of financial services. Brummett is a shareholder and the practice leader for compensation valuation services in the firm’s healthcare valuation services group.

“We are proud of Josh for receiving this honor. As he has grown our valuation service line through problem solving and expanding to meet the needs of his clients while giving back to his community, Josh exemplifies the title of Nashville Emerging Leader,” said Jeff Drummonds, CEO of LBMC.

The NELAs program, a collaboration of The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and YP Nashville, recognizes Middle Tennessee’s young professionals (YP) under the age of 40 for significant accomplishments in their chosen field as well as their commitment and contribution to the community. This year’s finalists were chosen out of a pool of more than 800 nominations from the business community. A committee comprised of community leaders and experts within each industry selected finalists based on their answers to essay questions, level of professional achievement, demonstrated leadership and community impact.

“As the Nashville region continues to grow, we are continually attracting and retaining the highest caliber of talent,” said Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ralph Schulz. “We are proud to

recognize this talented group of finalists for the 2017 NELAs. The Nashville Chamber and YP Nashville are

committed to building the next generation of leaders, and these young professionals possess strong leadership and a proven commitment to the continued prosperity of our community.”
