Phoenix - Fourteen Henry+Horne employees helped sort 3,000 pounds of donated items for Desert Mission Food Bank.
The group helped make hygiene packs and sorted meat, bread, desserts and other food items for distribution to the community. Helping to organize these items means volunteers at the food bank will be able to distribute them more effectively and efficiently.
Desert Mission Food Bank is designed in a market format so that clients can shop as they would in a regular grocery store for food, hygiene items, pet food, etc.
