San Francisco, Calif. - BPM LLP announced today, Corporate Tax Partner, Julie West will Chair its Corporate Tax Practice allowing current Corporate Tax Chair, Bob Houston to focus on expanding the Firm’s M&A, SALT and R&D specialty services lines.

The Firm’s Corporate Tax Practice assists with domestic and foreign tax analysis and filings, controversies (e.g. IRS audits), income tax provisions (FAS 109/ ASC 740), FIN 48 analysis for uncertain tax positions, tax credit incentives (e.g. R&D Tax Credits), state tax nexus studies and Section 382 studies to determine limitations on tax attributes.
