Hutchinson, KS -- The certified public accounting firm of Adams, Brown, Beran & Ball, Chartered is pleased to announce Jennifer D. Berning, CPA, was recently promoted to principal.

Bringing nearly 20 years of accounting experience with her, Berning joined the firm in 2013. In addition to co-managing the firm’s office in Hutchinson, she is responsible for managing a variety of tax engagements. Berning’s primary focus for clients is succession and tax planning opportunities for individuals, businesses, and farms.


Berning holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (KSCPA). Berning originally hails from Leoti, Kansas, and currently lives in Hutchinson with her husband, Jerry, and their three children.
