Dallas, TX—Lane Gorman Trubitt, LLC is pleased to announce four new principals this year. At the annual State of the Firm, Managing Partner Lee Ann Collins welcomed four well-deserving employees to the principal group.

Inviting new principals into the firm represents a significant investment of time and trust between all firm leaders. Our newest group represents our very best. Welcome,” said Collins.

Assurance Services Principal, Emily George, CPA, has been with the company for six years. Throughout her tenure she has trained her talents on not-for-profit organizations. More recently, she has shifted from audit and assurance work to consulting services. This new promotion will allow her to helm LGT’s not-for-profit consulting practice.

“I am honored to serve in this new role at LGT as principal of Assurance Services.  I started with LGT as an intern and the years leading up to this point have been inspiring and fulfilling.  I am looking forward to evolving existing relationships and developing new relationships in the years to come.” –Emily George

Tax Principal, Matt Dobay, CPA, migrated from Ohio and has been with LGT for almost three years. With a diverse skill background, Matt quickly found a home in the manufacturing and distribution niche, and he has been a great addition to the team.

“I am thrilled to represent LGT as a principal of tax services.  I knew LGT was the place for me the first day I started.  I truly enjoy working with everyone and can't wait to grow the firm for years to come.” –Matt Dobay

Tax Principal, Mark Opdahl, CPA, has been with LGT for 10 years. A long-time participant in the Young Constructors Council, he has been instrumental in the success of the construction practice as well as the real estate niche.

“I am excited and thankful to the partner group at LGT for promoting me to the new role of principal of tax services. I am also honored to represent the firm in this new role, and I can’t wait to see what we can do together in the future,” Mark states of his new position.

And LGT is proud to have Ryan Cole, CPA, as a tax principal after returning to the firm a year ago. Ryan worked with LGT prior to moving out of state. We are certainly happy to welcome him back.

“I am truly excited and honored to transition into my new role as principal of tax services. It is great to be back at the firm where I started my public accounting career. I will maintain my focus on upholding the relationships that LGT has created over the last 66 years and look forward to building new ones for the future.” –Ryan Cole
